Our Office

Mr. Elsberry received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in music performance from Drake University in 1981 and law degree from Western State University College of Law in 1985.  He was admitted to practice law in the State of California in 1986.

Mr. Elsberry specializes in all areas of civil litigation including medical malpractice, nursing home liability, product liability, general liability, premises liability and administrative and licensing matters before the California Department of Consumer Affairs such as the Medical Board of California, Board of Podiatric Medicine, Osteopathic Board, Board of Registered Nursing and other healthcare licensing boards.  He began his career with Chase, Rotchford, Drukker and Bogust in 1982 as a certified law clerk and continued as an associate after taking the bar examination.  Thereafter,  he worked in the Orange County office of the firm of Hillsinger & Costanzo for a number of years and was a partner with that firm before joining Susson & Parrett in 2000. That firm ultimately became Parrett & Elsberry. Mr. Elsberry founded his present firm with the help of attorney Alison Vitacolonna and Office Administrator Peggy Alexander – two of Mr. Elsberry’s valued coworkers during the preceding 20 years.  He has handled and tried a variety of cases from San Francisco to San Diego with several matters in Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego and Kern Counties as well as administrative matters before the Office of Administrative Hearings in Sacramento, Los Angeles the Inland Empire and San Diego. He has specially appeared in matters before the United States District Court for Alaska and the Nevada Board of Registered Nursing.

Mr. Elsberry is admitted to practice before the U. S. Supreme Court, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals and the U. S. District Court (Central, Northern, Eastern and Southern Districts of California), as well as all courts of the State of California.  He is a member of the State Bar of California, Association of Southern California Defense Counsel (Board Member/Committee Chair 1990-1992) and the Defense Research Institute.  He has been “AV” rated by Martindale-Hubbell for over 25 years and has served as a volunteer Arbitrator and Temporary Judge for the Orange County Superior Court for over 25 years.
